About AfriJournals

A better way to surface African research.

AfriJournals is built to make African scholarly work easier to discover, cite, preserve, and connect to global academic systems.

Why we exist

Across African institutions, valuable research is produced every year, yet much of it remains difficult to find, cite, or preserve online. AfriJournals addresses this visibility gap by organizing journals, issues, articles, metadata, and full-text records into a structured discovery platform.

What we do

We help scholarly publications become more accessible through clean metadata, stable article pages, issue archives, full-text PDF access, and indexing-friendly presentation. Our goal is not only to host research, but to make it discoverable and useful over time.

Our focus

AfriJournals supports journals and academic outputs connected to African research, education, arts, humanities, science, technology, development, and institutional knowledge. Each record is treated as part of a wider scholarly ecosystem where clarity, access, and preservation matter.
