Environmental degradation continues to worsen globally, and it is widely acknowledged that issues such as poverty and insecurity contribute to the proliferation of social vices. This study explores the use of art as both an advocacy tool against environmental degradation and a means of promoting financial empowerment. Employing a qualitative and exploratory research design, data were collected through primary sources such as interviews, group discussions, and observation, as well as secondary written materials. The study demonstrates that art activism is an effective instrument for raising awareness about societal and environmental challenges. Specifically, the use of discarded public flex posters as painting support materials contributes to environmental management by reducing waste and addressing the visual pollution of urban centers. The research highlights the dual role of art in environmental sustainability and economic empowerment.
