Abstract

This study presents a detailed anatomical illustration series demonstrating the surgical approach to the kidney through lumbar incision. The series consists of twelve illustrations created using both traditional and digital techniques, validated by medical professionals for accuracy. The research evaluates the effectiveness of these illustrations in enhancing healthcare trainees’ understanding of surgical procedures, anatomical relationships, and clinical confidence. Findings indicate that visual representations significantly improve comprehension and skill acquisition. The study contributes to healthcare education by providing visual tools that enhance surgical training and knowledge retention.
